In these earliest months, our focus is on creating a warm, loving environment where babies feel safe, secure, and valued. Toddlers are naturally curious and eager to do things on their own. At this stage, we foster independence through hands-on learning, practical life activities, and rich language development. Children learn how to care for themselves and their environment, gaining confidence through small, meaningful accomplishments. Social development also blossoms, as toddlers learn to share, take turns, and express their needs. Our environment is structured yet flexible, allowing toddlers to feel secure while they explore the world around them.
In our preschool classroom, children are given the freedom to choose their activities while being guided by our educators. The Montessori materials are designed to engage all areas of development — from early math and literacy to fine motor skills, social interaction, and problem-solving. Preschoolers work independently or in small groups, learning through real experiences and repetition. Our kindergarten program is the culmination of the early learning journey at Haven. Children continue to explore advanced Montessori materials while deepening their academic, social, and emotional readiness for elementary school. Leadership is encouraged through peer mentoring, group projects, and individual challenges. We focus on responsibility, empathy, and resilience — essential qualities that children carry with them beyond the classroom. Here, learning remains joyful, meaningful, and rooted in real-world understanding.
